Arvind Kejriwal arrest: Anna Hazare says man who once raised voice against liquor is now making policies

Social activist Anna Hazare said on Friday that he is “very upset” because Arvind Kejriwal who used to work with him in protesting against liquor is now himself “making liquor policies”. In a video, Hazare also said that the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo’s arrest is “because of his own deeds”.

“I am very upset that Arvind Kejriwal, who used to work with me, raised his voice against liquor, is now making liquor policies. His arrest is because of his own deeds,” Hazare said in the video.

The social activist further stated that Kejriwal made the liquor policy after becoming the Delhi Chief Minister, and despite Hazare writing to him twice, he did not “listen to him”.

“Now, he has been arrested…I always said that I put the welfare of the country in front. They (Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia) did not keep this in mind. The law and government will do what is right. I won’t give them any advice now…I don’t feel sad (on Kejriwal’s condition),” Anna Hazare said.
