The BJP on Sunday responded to party MP Anantkumar Hegde’s remark that the Constitution could be changed and said his statement does not reflect the party’s stance. The party also said it will ask the Karnataka MP to explain his remark.
Earlier in the day, Hegde said the Constitution could be changed if the BJP has a two-thirds majority in both houses of Parliament and in the states.
