TV operator Bittu Dutta said PM Modi mostly watched DD News and some Gujarati channels during his stay at the Kaziranga Police Guest House

TV operator Bittu Dutta shared his “amazing” experience of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Assam’s Kaziranga National Park. ” I had never even dreamt of meeting a prime minister in my life,” he said.

Bitu Dutta, who deals in TV repair and TV Dish operating business in Kohora range, Kaziranga, was responsible for installing the TVs in the prime minister’s separate room at the guest house. He was fortunate enough to meet PM Modi during his overnight stay.

“I worked in this office as a TV Dish coordinator. HR Said asked me to stay here to take care in case an issue arises. Then SPG Commandos took over the site and they asked me not to go anywhere. When the prime minister arrived in the room, he could not find his favourite channels, so I went inside and adjusted the TV. I entered his room a second time to resolve some other issue and PM Modi asked me to switch on the TV. ‘TV chala do,’ he said. PM Modi also asked me where I am from, I answered I am from Kaziranga,” he said.

“Meeting such a personality is exciting for me, I was a little bit scared. When I entered his room my heart started beating fast. I had never even dreamt of meeting a prime minister in my life. I was so tense I couldn’t sleep properly the whole night. But it was amazing that I could meet such a personality like PM Modi,” Bittu added.

Bittu further said during his stay at Kaziranga PM Modi watched DD News and some Gujarati channels.

PM Modi’s interaction with Bana Durgas of Kaziranga

During his visit to the Kaziranga National Park on March 9, PM Modi met the lady security personnel (Forest Guards) known as ‘Bana Durga’. “I interacted with Bana Durga, a team of women forest guards who are bravely protecting our forests and wildlife in their conservation efforts. Their dedication and courage in protecting our natural heritage is truly inspiring,” PM Modi said in an X post.

‘Bana Durgas’ said that they felt fortunate enough to get a chance to meet PM Modi.

“This is an amazing experience for all of us. We are happy that PM Modi sir’s visit to Kaziranga National Park will be a big exposure to world tourism. He asked us how we performed our duties in the Jungle, whether we were able to communicate with the animals or not and if could we understand the nature of the birds and beasts of the national park. Finally, he wished us to work hard and prosper, which is very inspiring for us,” a lady officer said.
